Capitol Hill will host a family-friendly, neighborhood event at Lincoln Park on Sabbath, August 27 from 11:30 - 4:30 pm. "One Love: Lincoln Park Family Day" will include inspirational messages, music, and activities promoting healthy families, wellness and unity. Special guests will be Mark Batterson, Pastor of National Community Church (NCC), and Author, The Circle Maker and All In; NLF Hall of Famer, Darrell Green; The NCC Praise Team; The Singing Pastors of Philadelphia; CHC Youth Voices; CHC Band; and Imani-Grace.
There will also be tent stations and areas for a Taste of DC; kids' activities; health screenings and movement activities; a listening booth; prayer wall; pack-a-kit service projects; area nonprofits; cool treats; and more. One Love is for the whole family! Bring a blanket and lunch to join our neighbors for an afternoon of inspiration and fun.
Lincoln Park is located at 11th Street & Massachusetts Ave NE (one block from Capitol Hill).
