Grow

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.”   Psalm 92:12-14

Let's Grow Together

Grow is a core commitment at Capitol Hill and important to experience the abundant life Christ promises. How do you grow in Christ? You grow through Bible study and baptism.

Grow with Bible Study

Prayer is how we talk to God, the Bible is how God talks to us. If you would like to know more about God as He has revealed Himself through His word, the Bible, we would love to study with you. We offer one-on-one studies, group studies for various age groups, and studies that meet in homes throughout the community. We also hold a mid-week, “Wednesdays in the Word” online bible study and prayer service, at 7:00pm weekly as well as a weekly “Church at Study” Bible School (Adult Sabbath School) on Saturdays at 9:30 am online and 10:00 am in person.

Grow with Baptism

What is Baptism?

1 Corinthians 12:13 speaks of us all being baptized by one Spirit to form one Body. At Capitol Hill, we believe that accepting Jesus Christ is the best thing that you can do, and we want to celebrate this event with you through the process of Baptism. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision, and as a community we want to celebrate with you!
