We are Iron Men
Daily the world bombards men with mixed messages about success, relationships, and happiness. Now, more than ever, it takes grit to be the kind of men God wants us to be. We are here to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you as we pursue God’s design for manhood through the teaching of the word, interacting with other men and service to the church and community.
Grow Groups
At several intervals during the year, Grow Groups are presented which focus on a specific challenge or opportunity that is common to most men as they strive to live godly. The presentation and study of these topics are designed to provide spiritual growth so that men will be enabled to experience fullness in every area of their calling.
Mentoring Program
Men’s Ministry is about serving, both within the body of Christ and our neighbors. Men’s Ministry is seeking mature Christian men to act as mentors to young men in the surrounding community. The goal of this mentoring program is to provide practical as well as spiritual instruction geared toward developing young men who will use their lives to make a positive impact in their families and the community.
Social Events
These activity focused events are usually labelled “Men Only” and are meant to connect man to man on a level that is comfortable and familiar. Men can enjoy connecting with other men to find comradery and fellowship as they move forward in their walk with God. Social events can include watching sports, golf outings, fishing trips, and more.
Retreat
The men of Capitol Hill withdraw each year to a rustic mountain retreat. The retreat provides an intensified time of worship, teaching, and being equipped with skills and strategies that will help men to excel in their spiritual well being. It is also a time of bonding and fellowship for the men with topics and activities developed with their specific needs in mind.
Capitol Hill Male Chorus
The Capitol Hill Male Chorus is a music ministry opened to men (young and young-at-heart) who desire to sing songs of praise and worship.
This ensemble sings a capella arrangements, choral, hymns, spirituals and gospel music. The Male Chorus rehearses the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays at 2:00pm and ministers as scheduled.
