Young adults are invited to the Young Adult Singles Field Day this Sunday, July 19, at Allen Pond Park in Bowie, Maryland. This event is open to all young adult singles—you don't have to be a Capitol Hill member to be part of the fun! What can you expect? Expect a relaxed afternoon of fellowship, friendly competition, and new connections through activities like the Hackensack Race, Three-Legged Race, Tug of War, Human Bingo, Speed Friendships, Guess Who?, Charades, Mafia, Taboo, Twister, and favorite table games including Spades, Dominoes, and Uno. There's something for everyone so bring a friend, or two. Meetup will be at Allen Pond Park in Bowie, MD at the pavilion, starting at 12 noon.

 Everyone is invited to meet us at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens for a special Sabbath afternoon activity. At the scenic Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, we will explore and appreciate God's handiwork in a natural habitat, plus burn some calories after the Fellowship Lunch. Remember your sunscreen and wear comfortable clothing/shoes because you WILL get your steps in (easy terrain)! The activity/content is geared towards our children/youth, but ALL ages are invited to attend. Cold beverages will be provided.

There is parking onsite, but feel free to carpool as well. It is located at Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens (1550 Anacostia Ave NE, Washington, DC 20019). See you there at 5 pm on July 25th!

If you’ve realized you don’t know God’s word the way you thought you did, either because you couldn’t answer a question someone posed to you, or, on your own, you couldn’t come to a Bible conclusion about what you thought you knew, then the “Contend for the Faith” Bible studies, hosted by Personal Ministries, is for you! If you know God’s word, are convinced of its truths, and are being transformed by the power of His word, then the “Contend for the Faith” Bible studies are for you! If you’re somewhere in between the two groups already mentioned, then the “Contend for the Faith” Bible studies are for you!

The greatest threat to faith is doubt. The only way to defeat doubt is to add confidence—that’s “substance”—to hope, and “evidence” to the unseen (Heb. 11:1). The “Contend for the Faith” Bible studies, will, by God’s grace and leading, strengthen your knowledge of God‘s word, empower you to confidently present the truths of God‘s word, and settle you as transformed believers of God‘s word. Thereby, you will defeat the enemy of doubt, while developing an intelligent, abiding and active faith in God, our soon coming Savior, Redeemer and Friend!

This new bible studies series will begin on April 4th, and will be held on 1st and 3rd Sabbaths, 4:00pm - 6:00pm via Zoom. Join the bible studies at:

Every third Sabbath, children up to age 12 are invited to Anchored Kids Children's Church in the Fellowship Hall. This unique, hands-on experience teaches children about God: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It's an engaging way for children to learn more about Jesus, themselves, and each other. Snacks are provided.
