Come join us outside at Lincoln Park at “One Love: Lincoln Park Family Day," a family-friendly, outdoor event that will be held on Saturday, August 23 from 11:30 am - 4:30 pm, just one block away from Capitol Hill SDA Church. For the first time, it will include a Talent Showcase that will uplift the name of Jesus!
"One Love: Lincoln Park Family Day" will include inspirational messages, music, and activities promoting faith, health, wellness, joy, and unity. There will be something for all ages including:
- Talent Showcase Zone featuring area performers and guest judges;
- Kids Zone with puppets, arts & crafts;
- Food Zone;
- Health and Wellness Zone with free health screenings on the Howard University Mobile Health truck;
- Prayer Zone;
- Community Service Zone; and
- Giveaway of backpacks and groceries while supplies last, and more.

What is the One Love Talent Showcase?
The One Love Talent Showcase is for anyone passionate about inspiring others through their gift while lifting the name of Jesus. Whether you love to Sing—be it choir, ensemble, solo, or play an Instrument, or express yourself through Spoken Word or Comedy all to lift the name of Jesus, we want to see your talent shine! The Talent Showcase will take place from 1:30 - 3 pm on Saturday, August 23 during One Love Lincoln Park Family Day!
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or an aspiring newcomer, your positive talent can inspire hope and unity. There will be guest judges and prizes for the top 3 performances!
