Capitol Hill Church Reopens on July 31
July 31
11:30 AM to 1:00 PM

The Capitol Hill Church Reopening, "Reset," is scheduled for Sabbath, July 31st! We are so excited to welcome the Capitol Hill family and guests to in-person worship. Yet, there will be some changes.

  1. The in-person worship experience will start at 11:30 a.m.
  2. Adult and Young Adult Sabbath School will start at 9:30 a.m.
  3. Face coverings will be required inside the sanctuary.
  4. Registration will be required in accordance with safety protocol best practices.

    We move into reset mode:

    - On August 7, we will remember our loved ones lost this past year through a moment of Remembrance and Hope.  If you have someone you want remembered, please send the name and photo to the Church Office, at info@capitolhillsdachurch.org by July 31.

    - Excitement is building for our Evangelism Rally Day on August 14, the day we'll officially kick off the Journey to Joy Virtual Bible Conference season, scheduled for September 11-25. On Rally Day we'll take the urgency to reach souls for Jesus Christ to another level. Until then, you're invited to pray about how God wants you to help on any of our 4 teams:  Digital Discipleship, Communications, Spiritual Support, and Sponsorship. Stay tuned for more details next Sabbath.

    - Then on August 15, we will have our Annual Picnic at Allen Pond Park, in Bowie, MD, from 11am - 6pm.  We look forward to safely gathering outside in God's beautiful nature and having a good time of fun and fellowship. We will provide more details over the coming weeks, but please mark your calendars now and we hope you'll plan to attend.

    - On August 21 we will recognize our ministry team members who supported our services and activities during our closure in the pandemic; and we’ll also hold a special dedication for our new organ.
