Capitol Hill SPARK! Children’s Music Recital and Visual Arts Showcase
Saturday, December 9, 2023 | 3:00 pm
Kids, step into the spotlight and share your creative talents with th
e world!

God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis. The Master Artist is working to redeem, reclaim, and transform us—His creation—to the design He planned for us.  During VBS this year, kids had fun, all while learning that we are His workmanship (Eph. 2:10) and a masterpiece in process. During our Open House on December 9, they will share their God-given musical and artistic talents.

We invite young musicians (pianists, string players, beat makers, and other instrumentalists) and artists (painters, photographers, craftsmakers, filmmakers and more) -- to take part in our exciting SPARK! Music Recital and Visual Arts Showcase to culminate the Vacation Bible School activities held in September.   The recital/showcase is open to youth up to age 18.

Once registered, the parents will be contacted to submit a video of an instrumental selection, or a photo of a sample of the child’s artwork for consideration by November 26, 2023.  This does not have to be the actual piece the child will play in the recital or showcase but should reflect their talent and capabilities. Children may register for both the recital and the showcase.

We look forward to seeing the amazing creativity and talent you bring to the festival through your music and art!

To participate, submit your registration by November 26, 2023 – parents must submit for children ages 15 and below.  We look forward to seeing the amazing creativity and talent you bring to the festival through your music and art!
