Dr. Philip M. Wesley, II
Associate Pastor
Dr. Philip M. Wesley II is a native of
Long Island, New York. Dr. Wesley attended Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College), he later graduated
from Atlantic Union College with degrees in Communication and Religion. He
continued his education at the Theological Seminary at Andrews University where
he obtained his Master of Divinity Degree. Recently, Dr. Wesley received a
Doctorate from the University of Montemorelos.
With a passion for music he created
McGuire Entertainment Group, a marketing ministry for content creators. McGuire
has released The MEGA Project featuring “Get Your House In Order” by Sherice
Tomlin and “Oh How I Love That Man Jesus'' by Mark Prentice.
Dr. Wesley has a column in Message
Magazine called Elevation: Media That Takes You Higher. He has also started an
organization Dr. Phil 2: Shaping Your New Start helping students, teachers and
parents to create a new purpose. Out of
this came the Shaping Your New Start Education Podcast.
Dr. Wesley has held a number of
leadership roles in ministry in New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. He has
served as the Associate Youth Director for the Northeastern Conference. He is
currently the Assistant Superintendent for Spiritual Life for 16 Northeastern
Conference Schools. Starting June 11, Dr. Wesley will serve as the Associate
Pastor for the Capitol Hill SDA Church.
Dr. Wesley has served on several
community organizations as well as police advisory.
Dr. Wesley is married to Lynnett Wesley, author of We Need More Clouds, a
book for blended families. They are the proud parents of three beautiful
daughters, Shaniya Josephine, Leah Gabriele, and Peyton Gianna and new addition
Philip III.
He is the son of the late Pastor Philip
M. Wesley Sr., Dr. Gwen Wesley and sister Sheryl.
Dr. Wesley released his podcast, The
Anchored Voice: Helping Men to Anchor Life.
He also co-authored a book called “Lessons for The Journey”. The book is a Young Adult Devotional book. His life
belief and mission is #BeADisciple a mission to empower more disciples for
Jesus Christ!
