Capitol Hill and area Allegheny East churches will be together for "Unity Day Weekend," starting Friday, October 2, at 7 p.m. in Bladensburg with Pastor Darnisha Thomas as speaker. On Saturday morning, October 3, three services will begin at 11:30 a.m. in Upper Marlboro: Children’s Church with Pastor Novella Smith, Teen Worship with Pastor Amanda Hawley, and Adult Worship with AEC President Dr. Trevor Kinlock.
